The first lawsuit was filed in the US court against famous personalities who were seen advertising the FTX crypto exchange. The damage from their activities is estimated at $ 11 billion. The victim in court will be protected by law firms.

The document lists about 10 celebrities who may be involved in this case. Among them: football player Tom Brady and his wife, basketball stars Stephen Curry and Shaquille O'Neal, as well as the head of the stock exchange Sam Bankman-Fried. In the accusation column, the following is noted - support for the sale of unregistered securities to US citizens.

If the law firms can prove guilty, then the defendants are required to pay the complainant $11 billion. How this amount is distributed among the perpetrators is not known yet.

It is worth noting that 2 years ago, Tom Brady and his wife entered into an advertising deal with FTX, received a share in the company and a fee in BTC currency.

Experts note that the plaintiff has a high chance of receiving payments as a result of this case, since this case is not an isolated one. Previously, Kim Kardashian paid more than a million dollars for inappropriate advertising of the EthereumMax crypto project.
