After the collapse of the FTX crypto exchange, which began in early November, many cryptocurrency companies began to feel the consequences of this incident.

The American venture capital fund Sequoia Capital lost $210 million in investment due to FTX cooperation. The BlockFi platform announced the suspension of the withdrawal of funds. The company did not comment further. However, users have speculated that the exchange may be insolvent.

Also, celebrities who acted as ambassadors lost their investment in FTX. For example: football player Tom Brady, basketball player Steph Curry and tennis player Naomi Osaka.

Studio ATMTA, which develops and releases the Star Atlas metaverse on the Solana blockchain, has lost half of its funds. The director of the company does not say how much was invested in FTX. However, he warned players of significant risks.

The Galois Capital fund team tweeted that about $40 million is stuck on FTX. It is possible that it could take several years to return the funds.

The exact amount of damage is still unknown, since every day information is received from the affected exchanges and the list is replenished with new names.

Earlier, a post appeared that the SEC began to closely study the activities of the head of FTX.
