Project feature
Dent is a revolutionary player in the mobile communications and data services market. Today, about half of the world's population has limited access to mobile services due to the high prices, offered by traditional mobile operators. The project uses blockchain technology to revolutionize this and provide global access to mobile airtime and data.
Some of the biggest problems the company is trying to solve:
Mobile data release | The DENT token will become the global currency for mobile data. Users will send project tokens to telecommunication service providers in exchange for data. The project will also enable a data sharing economy where users can freely buy, sell and transfer mobile data from any user to any user. |
International roaming disruption | The project facilitates the removal of data roaming cost drivers, such as costly routing costs between telecom providers. |
Mobile data purchases for the best price | DENT allows you to automate the purchase of data packages for consumers and IoT devices. Users always get the best price from the most suitable operator in their area without having to worry about buying too much or too little data. |
Everything on the Dent platform is purchased through project tokens, which means that all transactions are recorded on the blockchain, and there is no chance for a client to pay for something and not receive it. Unlike traditional mobile operators, Dent strives to make mobile airtime and data available worldwide to all stakeholders, regardless of location.
Where to buy a token?
According to the company's White paper, there is a maximum supply of 100 billion DENT tokens. The total circulating supply at the time of writing is 93 billion DENT tokens.
Of the total supply, 8.6 billion DENT tokens were sold at a fixed price per token during the company's Initial Coin Offering (ICO). 30% of all tokens remain with the company for strategic acquisitions and market seeding, user incentives, salaries and bonuses. The remaining 70% of the token supply was released during the pre-sale and sale, and any outstanding tokens were locked up and issued quarterly thereafter. The leading cryptocurrency exchanges for trading Dent shares are currently:
- Binance;
- FTX;
- Mandala Exchange;
- Bitget;
- Bybit.
DЕNT - DЕNT - an Ethereum-based ERC-20 token. This means that the Dent platform works, thanks to the proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus method. Unlike Bitcoin, which uses a proof-of-work (PoW) consensus mechanism, the project relies on large stakeholders to become nodes and validators of transactions. The benefits of PoS consensus mechanisms are numerous, but the most notable are increased scalability and reduced consumption of electricity and computing power. Given this, many platforms want to use the Ethereum blockchain to launch their products. Dent - one of the first projects to launch an ERC-20 token back in 2017.
