Flume NFT marketplace

With Flume, you can upload your content, create and deploy an NFT collection without writing a single line of code. Your collection will be instantly available for sale on the most famous NFT marketplaces. All this is done in a matter of minutes.

To build your NFT collection, you will need to have a crypto wallet. Developers recommend using MetaMask. Click "Connect Wallet" and start playing with Flume. Click the purple "Create new NFT collection" button and you will be taken to the illustration editor page.

Once you get to the illustration editor page, you will see:

NFT Title Collection field You can specify the name of your collection. It will not be editable once the collection is expanded.
Image format Specify the size of the images you will be uploading. Remember that all images must have the same format, and the system will reject anyone who does not comply with it. It is set to 500X500 by default.
Number of NFTs If the number of elements and layers you have uploaded is too small for the system to create that many unique pieces of art, you will receive a warning as soon as you click on the "Create Collection" button.
“Create collection” button After setting up the layers and loading the content, click this button to algorithmically generate your collection. You will be redirected to the preview page.

Click the "Save" button to save any updates you've made to the illustration editor. Remember to always click on it before closing the browser tab/window, otherwise you will lose your work. Click the "Create Collection" button. The engine behind Flume will randomly mix all layers to generate the number of unique NFTs you choose.

Delayed coinage

A gas fee — a fee that a creator must pay in exchange for the computing power, needed to process and verify transactions on the blockchain. In other words, in order to mint NFT artwork, you have to pay a fee to replace the miner’s computing resources on the blockchain. To overcome the gas fee, the developers have implemented the "Lazy Minting" mechanism.

Lazy Minting — when the NFT is available “off the grid” or off the blockchain and is minted only after the sale of the NFT.

Using such coinage, the creators do not need to pay for gas in advance. In contrast, the gas fee is paid after the NFT job is purchased and has an "online" status.Flume

Thus, the responsibility for minting NFTs lies with the buyers, not the creators of the NFTs. Flume uses "Lazy Minting>" to allow creators to save money and the overall system to save processing power.
