Description of the Ethereum project Tornado Cash
The new tornadocash tool allows you to send Ethereum cryptocurrency 100% anonymously, using innovative, non-custodial technology, based on strong cryptography. Tornado improves transaction privacy by breaking the chain link between recipient addresses. It uses a smart contract that accepts ETH deposits that can be withdrawn at a different address. Whenever ETH is withdrawn to a new address, there is no way to link the withdrawal to the deposit, ensuring complete confidentiality. Accordingly, Tornado Cash acts as a proxy to ensure that the transaction is 100% anonymous with zkSnarks proof.
To make a deposit, the user generates a secret and sends it a hash (called a commitment) along with the deposit amount to the Tornado smart contract. The agreement accepts a deposit and adds a commitment to its deposit list.
How to make a deposit:

| 4. | Click "Submit Deposit" and confirm the transaction. |
| 5. | Wait for the transaction to be mined. |
The anonymity set is basically a dimension of anonymity. It shows how many deposits are still waiting for withdrawal. In other words, how many deposits your mixed ETH value can come from. TORN is an ERC20 compliant fixed-delivery token that powers TornadoCash.
