About the DTube crypto defi project
DTube's main interface displays hot, popular and watched videos on the start page. You can search or use the menu to explore trending tags and account-related lists, such as watch later or watch again video lists.
To create an account, go to the account creation page and follow the registration instructions. Once your account is open, you will be able to log into D.Tube by entering your username and your private key, and you can also log into your Hive or Steem account to take advantage of Dtube's interoperability features.
There are 3 ways to download videos:
| Peer-to-peer transmission | the best download method for reliability and anonymity. You need to choose a peer-to-peer protocol between BTFS, Skynet and IPFS and use the original video hash to upload to Dtube. |
| Third party URL | this is the easiest way to add videos to Dtube, and is mainly recommended for users who have already created content on other platforms and enjoy the benefits of Dtube, and also if you want to share non-original content on Dtube. Currently, you can use Twitch, Youtube, Dailymotion, Instagram, Liveleak, Viemo, Facebook URLs to add videos to Dtube. |
| Uploading files | a good method for uploading small and simple files. All files are on a decentralized network. Just select and upload a server and you can start uploading your file. |
DTC - a utility token, designed to best serve video content creators. You can use it to post, vote or promote videos on the Dtube platform. You can hold your DTC to create VP (voting rights). Each DTC unit produces +1 VP per hour for its owner. You can spend your VP, tagging some content or using it to curate other content.

Each day, a fixed number of DTC tokens are allocated to the network's reward pool, commonly referred to as the “reward pool”.
