About the Xpansion project
The game introduces a decentralized sandbox environment with a networked economic resource model, entirely based on non-fungible tokens and fungible goods on the chain. Decentralized governance means that the game world is completely player controlled, open to interaction and integration with other networked economies. Xpansion's intent - to ensure the usefulness of both land parcels and NFT equipment. Both allow you to mine resources in the form of fungible tokens, needed to upgrade Land NFTs, using the land settlements.
As the game progresses, it will be possible to discover new planets, and players will be able to build arks to launch expeditions to settle new lands. Earth on new planets may have a different distribution of base resources, compared to Kepler 22b, which could affect the evolution of the in-game economy. Building arks will require a significant investment of resources and will depend on the distance and types of new discovered worlds.
NFTs are available in the following types and rarities:

Ground NFTs produce different base resources and economic returns, depending on rarity. Different rarities can give more or less of a certain type of resources.
XPS — a native replaceable Xpansion token that players can mine during their in-game activity. The maximum supply will be 1 billion XPS, the vast majority of which will go to the player reward pool.

Land NFTs generate a small base amount of XPS without upgrades, which depends on rarity. Upgrades to land settlements apply a multiplier to the base amount of generated XPS. The baseline XPS, generated by the ground-based NFT, is calculated from its XPS generation rate. In order for the player's Land to generate XPS, the player will need to play the game actively and mine the land. Rewards for active XPS mining are distributed in proportion to the player's reward pool.
