PixelPotus - a light collectible card game, made up of increasingly rare digital POTUS (Presidents of the United States). There are 45 POTUS in total, each available at 6 rarity levels.
However, higher tier rarities can only be minted by collecting and then burning lower tier tokens. This means that if you want an uncommon George Washington, you will need to collect 2 common ones and use the refresh action to convert them to one uncommon.
Other features:
| 1. | In addition to the free entry, each person can purchase up to 5 additional random POTUS of normal rarity for 0.125 tez. |
| 2. | However, the number of entries for all players is limited to 5,000 per day, so it's important to get entries as early as possible so you don't miss out. |
| 3. | The entry period resets each day around 12 pm NT. |
The Treasury contributes 20% of all application and update fees to the prize pool. Each of the newly minted unique POTUS holders will receive a payout of 25% until the last (45th) unique POTUS token is minted. The finalist will receive whatever is left in the treasury.
Token management
The contract implements the Tezos FA2 standard but has some additional complexities to control how and when POTUS tokens can be claimed, upgraded and traded. Users are free to transfer their POTUS just like any FA2 token. The team has included a built-in escrow-based marketplace where users can place trades for other POTUS tokens or for the amount of XTZ. The token contract contains actual metadata, describing the properties of each POTUS token.
You need a Tezos wallet to participate. Also, you will need some XTZ (Tezos) in your wallet to pay the gas fees on the network. Go to your favorite exchange (Coinbase, Gemini, Binance) and grab some XTZ, then send it to your new wallet address.
