Elon Musk held a meeting with visitors at the Berlin-Brandenburg gigafactory, where Tesla electric cars have been manufactured since the plant opened in the spring of 2000. One of the participants of the event asked Musk about the possibility of purchasing a Tesla car for Dogecoin in the future. In response, Musk responded positively to the idea, saying that it could be implemented at some point. This reaction sparked enthusiasm among investors, and the market price of Dogecoin increased dramatically. By the time of writing, the Dogecoin price had increased by 9.3%, jumping from the level of $ 0.172 to $0.188.

Tesla began accepting DOGE as payment for its goods from the year two thousand twenty-two. Musk began actively supporting Dogecoin after an appeal from several employees of the Tesla gigafactory, who called on the CEO to support Dogecoin as an official payment method. A similar request was also received by Musk from SpaceX visitors. According to Musk, Dogecoin is the cryptocurrency of the people, so he expressed his support. He also noted that Bitcoin has received support from many rich people, and he wants to support the cryptocurrency, which is popular among a wide audience.

The creation of an XPayments account in the "Elon Musk X social network" (formerly Twitter) caused further speculation in the crypto community regarding the possible introduction of cryptocurrencies. It is expected that by the middle of the twenty-fourth year, payment services will appear in Appendix X. However, it is unclear whether these services will support payments beyond traditional national currencies.
