Non-Futurable Token (NFT) platform Enjin recently migrated more than 200 million NFTs from Ethereum and the sidechain to Enjin's own blockchain.
In a statement obtained by Cointelegraph, Enjin noted that more than 118 million NFTs hosted on Ethereum, along with more than 101 million NFTs hosted on an Ethereum sidechain called JumpNet, have been migrated to its main network, called Enjin Blockchain.
In June, this NFT platform announced the creation of its own blockchain. Enjin said that the new network includes features specifically geared toward NFTs. With the move, users will also experience some changes, such as the ability to use embedded royalties and a new feature called "Fuel Tanks" that will allow developers to subsidize gas fees for users. According to the announcement, the platform will use the feature to provide users with free transactions across its ecosystem for three months.
Atlas Development Services' COO, Atlas Development Services, also noted that the move to a different blockchain will potentially connect Web3 to the three billion global market of gamers.
