The second largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum (ETH), also showed a positive movement. This coin reached above $2,200 during the general market rally. At the moment, Ethereum is trading at $2,250, with an increase of 4% in the last 24 hours.

A similar upward movement can also be observed in other altcoins in the TOP 10 by market capitalization. Coins such as BNB, XRP, SOL and others showed an increase of 0.1% over the past day.

Bitcoin's growth began after its decline below the $40,000 level in April 2022. However, in the last few months, the cryptocurrency with the largest market capitalization has shown an increasing trend. Analysts attribute this to expectations regarding the possible approval of bitcoin ETFs in the United States and optimistic statements by representatives of the central bank of this country.

Ethereum, which has not reached the $2,200 mark since May 2022, has approached this level several times in recent weeks and finally overcame it. A notable phenomenon in bitcoin transactions was the withdrawal of 37,000 BTC by holders from November 17 to December 1, indicating their preference for storing coins directly.
