Ripple, the renowned crypto payment platform, has partnered with Onafriq, a fintech company, to facilitate cross-border payments between Africa and global markets, including the UK, Australia, and the Gulf. The collaboration aims to enable crypto-based cross-border transactions across 27 African countries.

Onafriq is establishing three payment corridors by working with PayAngel in the UK, Pyypl in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and Zazi Transfer in Australia. This announcement was made at Ripple's annual conference, Swell, in Dubai. The partnership seeks to make remittances faster, more secure, and cost-effective, bridging the gap between Africa and the rest of the world.
