Ubisoft, the renowned creator of Assassin’s Creed, is unveiling an exclusive collection of 1:1 "Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix" NFT avatars for The Sandbox, a popular metaverse game. These avatars, featuring iconic characters like Rayman and Dolph Laserhawk, are set to be priced at 120 SAND during the public sale, with a special price of 90 SAND during the allowlist phase.

In a unique offering, only 200 avatars will be made available for free on November 28, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The allowlist, open from November 21 to 27, provides 3,000 spots for registration, leading up to the mint date on November 29. The public sale is scheduled for November 30, and the official reveal is set for December 6.

Players are encouraged to engage with these avatars as citizens of Eden within The Sandbox metaverse. Each avatar is not just a collectible; it serves as a playable entity unlocking various in-game features, events, and exclusive rewards. The play-to-earn concept extends to unique opportunities for avatar holders to earn SAND and additional NFTs through gameplay.

The avatars are inspired by the French-American adult animated series, "Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix," a collaboration between Ubisoft Film & Television, Bobbypills, and Bootleg Universe. This show, released on Netflix in October 2023, draws inspiration from Ubisoft's diverse gaming franchises, including Assassin’s Creed, Ghost Recon, and Splinter Cell, taking users on a nostalgic journey into the fictional world of Eden in 1992.

Setting these avatars apart, each one is meticulously crafted with randomly generated traits, categorized as super rare, rare, uncommon, and common. Moreover, introducing three different sizes—small, medium, and large—is a first for The Sandbox.

Post the initial sale, players will have the opportunity to purchase avatars from others on the OpenSea marketplace. As an added bonus, Eden Icons holders will receive a special care package.
