Account information on the Binance platform can be purchased for $10,000 in XMR or BTC cryptocurrency. One attacker compromised the emails of three law enforcement officers from different countries, namely Taiwan, the Philippines and Uganda.

Through these hacked email accounts, it is possible to gain access to the "Binance law enforcement portal", which provides legitimate access to account data on the exchange.
