Blade of God X, a Norse-themed action-RPG, has been added to the Epic Games Store in preparation for its upcoming alpha test on PC, Android, and iOS devices. Developer Void Labs announced that their forthcoming third-person action-RPG, "Blade of God X," is officially listed on the Epic Games Store, with alpha testing to begin in the coming days.
Blade of God X is the official sequel to the Blade of God series, initially aimed at mobile devices, offering a dark Norse adventure that evolves the existing dynamic combo combat by integrating counterattacks with skill chains for added tactical depth. Players will be able to utilize the Soul Core system, embedding the souls of defeated monsters into their skill chains to gain new abilities and alter their combat style. There will also be opportunities to team up with other players for cooperative boss fights and strategic PvP battles.
The official release date has not been announced, but the store page indicates the game will "soon" be available on Windows PCs, supporting up to 4K resolution. It will also be available on Android and iOS devices.
The franchise's publisher, PGSoul Games, previously collaborated with Immutable to use the Immutable zkEVM technology in this new cross-platform project, which has already gathered over 240,000 pre-registrations on the game's official website. However, this new game is not labeled as a blockchain project on the store page, unlike other games in the Epic Store.
The alpha test is scheduled for March 6 at 2:00 UTC and will last for an indefinite period. Preloading will be available 10 hours before the start, from March 5 at 16:00 UTC. It is not specified who can participate in this early version of the game, but according to the official site, this test may be limited to whitelist users who own a soul core.
