Copper, a company specializing in digital asset storage, has announced the creation of a new brokerage platform. This platform, named Copper Securities, is designed for institutional clients, particularly from the United Arab Emirates, and allows trading in tokenized securities. It combines both financial and custodial services.

In the future, the platform's functionality is planned to be expanded by adding financial and payment applications, as well as integration with Copper's custodial partners. This will give clients access to a wide range of financial instruments from more than 90 markets around the world.

Copper representatives emphasize that the new platform will increase efficiency and reduce operational costs compared to traditional market infrastructure. A feature of the platform is the automation of processing corporate mandates, settlements, replenishments, and rebalancing, which will be a significant advantage for clients using the Copper ecosystem.

Additionally, Copper recently expanded its presence in the UAE market by acquiring the brokerage firm Securrency Capital. This allowed the company to launch trading in digital securities in the region. It is also worth noting that in May, the company announced its partnership with the cryptocurrency exchange Bitget.
