Ronaldo's journey with NFTs began in November 2022 with his debut collection on Binance, marking the start of a multi-year partnership. The first collection featured iconic moments from his career, with the rarest items selling for nearly $10,000.

However, the partnership was not without its challenges. In December 2023, Ronaldo faced a class-action lawsuit amounting to $1 billion for promoting NFTs, which led to significant financial losses for clients. Binance also settled a dispute with US regulators for $4 billion, leading to the resignation of CEO Changpeng Zhao. Despite these difficulties, neither Ronaldo nor Binance commented on the lawsuit.

Hints of new projects from Ronaldo kept fans on edge, eagerly awaiting the launch of the new collection. Released on May 29, the latest NFT collection promises to highlight the most important moments of Ronaldo's career, continuing his innovative partnership with Binance, which also needs to overcome recent legal and regulatory challenges.
