Bitcoin and Ethereum Options Expiry
According to a post on X by Deribit, $3.27 billion in Bitcoin and Ethereum options are set to expire on Friday at 08:00 UTC. $2.87 billion is in Bitcoin options with a Max Pain Point of $86,000 and a Put/Call Ratio of 0.74. Additionally, $399 million is in Ethereum options with a Max Pain Point of $2,150 and a Put/Call Ratio of 0.71.
Current Bitcoin Price
At the time of writing this article, Bitcoin is trading above $83,000, up by 1% in the past 24 hours after rebounding from $80,000 levels. On March 12, BTC surged above $84,000 following an eased inflation report, then quickly dropped by 1.5% before regaining its footing.
Current Ethereum Price
Ethereum is currently trading above $1,880 after dropping to $1,840 on March 12. Earlier on March 12, ETH also recorded a 2% drop after surging above $1,920.
