Securitize and asset management company Apollo have presented the Apollo Diversified Credit Securitize Fund (ACRED), available to qualified institutional investors on multiple blockchains.

ACRED Fund Strategy

The ACRED Fund provides tokenized access to a diversified credit strategy. It will be available on networks including Solana, Ethereum, Aptos, Avalanche, and Polygon.

Technological Support and Integration

To support operations on multiple blockchains, Securitize uses its integration with the interoperability provider Wormhole. This facilitates the addition of fixed income and private credits on-chain.

Benefits and Prospects of Tokenization

Christine Moy from Apollo noted that tokenization offers a blockchain-based solution for the Apollo Diversified Credit Fund. Carlos Domingo, co-founder and CEO of Securitize, highlighted the growing demand for tokenized assets in fixed income and private credit sectors.

The launch of the ACRED Fund marks a significant step towards tokenization. The use of blockchains opens new opportunities for institutional investors to earn returns through these innovative products.
