Recent market data unveils significant developments in the NFT sector, with Azuki emerging as the standout performer on Tuesday. Azuki, based on Ethereum, dominated the day's trading activities by clocking impressive sales worth $1.13 million. This surge propelled Azuki's cumulative sales volume to an impressive $1.12 billion, firmly establishing it as one of the top NFT collections in the industry. Notably, Azuki claimed the spotlight as the sole NFT to breach the $1 million sales milestone on Tuesday, marking a notable achievement amid a backdrop of declining sales that dipped to $2 million for the first time since April 12.
In addition to Azuki's stellar performance, DMarket, a renowned provider of in-game assets operating on the Mythos network, secured the second-highest sales figures, amassing $887,880. The Dokyo collection, built on the Avalanche platform, also made a mark by clinching the third spot in terms of sales, generating $716,860 from 948 completed transactions.
Furthermore, other notable collections like Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and CryptoPunks exhibited commendable sales figures, crossing the $500,000 threshold each. BAYC's market performance received a notable boost following Yuga Labs' restructuring announcement, leading to a substantial 80% surge in trading volume to 1,300 ETH ($4.2 million) on Tuesday.
