Zeus Network has officially launched APOLLO, its flagship decentralized exchange, marking the first of its kind on Solana. Alongside this, zBTC was introduced—the first fully decentralized Bitcoin asset on Solana.
Introduction of APOLLO and zBTC
APOLLO allows users to lock native BTC and mint zBTC at a 1:1 ratio directly on Solana, thus adding Bitcoin liquidity in a fully decentralized and non-custodial environment. This platform circumvents traditional wrapped Bitcoin models, which rely on centralized custodians. APOLLO and zBTC deliver a trustless and transparent ecosystem without KYC requirements or custodial risks. The platform demonstrated significant success during the private mainnet phase with over $40 million in total volume and 50 zBTC minted ahead of launch.
APOLLO's Capabilities and Future Plans
The launch of APOLLO introduces BTCFi on Solana with a suite of decentralized financial services leveraging Bitcoin’s liquidity and security. Users can engage in various DeFi strategies such as trading zBTC on Jupiter, providing liquidity on Meteora, HawkFi, and Raydium. Future launches include yield optimization strategies using zBTC on Drift and Neutral Trade. Zeus Network also provides on-chain visibility into Bitcoin reserves through ZeusScan, ensuring full accountability of every BTC transaction.
Future Development of Zeus Network
In the coming months, Zeus Network plans to introduce new features for modular Bitcoin liquidity. APOLLO will offer swaps between zBTC, cbBTC, and wBTC with options to withdraw to native Bitcoin. This will enhance market efficiency and provide users greater flexibility in managing Bitcoin positions. Borrowing and lending operations on Drift and Save Finance are also planned. Zeus Network aims to attract institutional liquidity partners and integrate UTXO-based assets like DOGE, LTC, and KAS.
Zeus Network continues to strengthen its position as a leader in decentralized Bitcoin solutions on Solana, advancing the BTCFi sector and enabling all users access to Bitcoin-based DeFi opportunities.
