The Gibraltar-based Aurora Labs announced the automation of blockchain deployment in its new console, significantly simplifying the process for developers and businesses in the NEAR ecosystem. This marks the first step of a large-scale 2025 plan.
New Feature in Aurora Cloud Console
Aurora Labs has introduced a blockchain deployment automation feature in its Cloud Console. Now, anyone, even without any coding knowledge, can launch their custom chain in under a minute. This is made possible through the automation of setup, freeing users from the complexities of custom blockchain creation. The core features of the console include a guided onboarding process, customizable parameters, real-time transaction monitoring, and chain deployment progress tracking.
Development Plan for 2025
Aurora Labs' roadmap for the first quarter of 2025 features a series of enhancements designed to further simplify blockchain functionality. The company's goal is to create 1,000 custom chains by the year’s end. CEO Alex Shevchenko noted, "Aurora Cloud Console creates a future where launching a blockchain is as easy as deploying a smart contract. With 1,000 chains on the horizon, we're building an ecosystem where anyone can create without limits, scale without friction, and tap into the full power of NEAR’s network. The barriers are gone. Anyone can be a Builder now."
Future Upgrades and Integrations
Aurora Labs plans to introduce Forwarder and Intents support along with automated bridge configuration for enhanced interoperability. Future upgrades include one-click Oracle deployment, full gas management, and customizable chain permissions. During Q1, the company intends to introduce instant DEX deployment via Trisolaris and on/offramp integrations for seamless fiat-crypto transitions. Later in the year, plans include introducing stablecoins and BTC as base tokens, universal indexing for virtual chains, and the recycling of inactive chains.
The scaling of ACC aligns with the growing demand for Rollups-as-a-Service, opening new avenues for projects within the NEAR and Aurora ecosystems. These changes position Aurora Labs at the forefront of simplified blockchain access and lay the groundwork for future AI integrations and expanded use cases.
