Markus also mentioned his first project, Bells, in response to an X user. He clarified that he made the code for Bells before proposing to Palmer to work on DOGE together. Markus noted that the current Bells project runs on Ethereum and is different from the original. "Keep in mind that the current Bells token was completely resurrected, the old blockchain was wiped out, and a new one was started by others," he pointed out.

Markus also stressed that some Ethereum-based token creators falsely claim their projects were launched in 2013. "This is a very obvious lie, as Ethereum was not created until 2015," he said.
