Binance Announces Support for IoTeX Network Upgrade and Hard Fork

Binance has announced its support for the IoTeX network upgrade and upcoming hard fork scheduled for June 19, 2025.

Date and Details of the Network Upgrade

The IoTeX network upgrade and hard fork will occur at block height 36,893,881 on June 19, 2025.

Suspension of IOTX Deposits and Withdrawals

To facilitate the upgrade, deposits and withdrawals for IOTX tokens will be temporarily suspended starting at 11:28 AM on the same day. Trading of IOTX and related tokens on Binance will not be affected.

Support from Binance

Binance emphasized that it will handle all technical aspects of the upgrade on behalf of users and will resume deposits and withdrawals once the network is deemed stable. The exchange noted that no further announcements will be made regarding the reopening.

This initiative is part of Binance's efforts to ensure a seamless user experience during blockchain network activities. Users are advised to deposit IOTX tokens in advance.
