Binance Futures recently announced changes in the leverage and margin tiers for some of its popular contracts. These adjustments affect various USDT and coin-based contracts.

Changes in Binance Futures Contracts

According to a recent notice, Binance Futures will adjust its margin tiers and leverage levels effective January 22, 2025. The enhancements apply to TRUMPUSDT, LITUSDT, DOGSUSDT, and NEIROETHUSDT contracts. The exchange assured that current user positions will remain unaffected.

Details on TRUMP Leverage Increase

The TRUMP contract's maximum leverage, previously at 25x, is now boosted to 50x. Moreover, the margin rate is reduced from 2.00% to 1.00%, with all higher tiers cut by at least 50%.

Overview of Other Contract Adjustments

For the LITUSDT contract, the leverage cut from 25x to 10x did not largely affect its margin rates, except the 25.00% tier. NEIROETH contracts also saw a leverage reduction to 15x with detailed margin tier changes. Adjustments were made for WLD and DOGS contracts in terms of maximum position tiers, while the rates themselves remain unchanged.

These updates aim to optimize resource usage and risk management for Binance Futures users.
