Binance has confirmed its participation in the upcoming Lumia Token Swap Event (TSE), which has been scheduled for the near future.

ORN to LUMIA Token Swap

Binance will support the migration of ORN tokens to new LUMIA tokens, which will be automatically credited to users' Binance accounts following the upgrade. In preparation, Binance will halt ORN withdrawals and deposits several days ahead of the swap to ensure a seamless process. Tokens will be swapped on a 1:1 basis.

Preparing for Lumia Chain Launch

On October 15 at 03:30 UTC, Binance will suspend ORN deposits and withdrawals before conducting the TSE. LUMIA deposits will then be enabled on October 18 at 08:00 UTC. The new token will support network governance, with a deflationary mechanism to align long-term incentives between HyperNode operators and network users.

RWAs and DeFi on a Dedicated Layer

After the token swap, LUMIA holders will be looking forward to the mainnet launch of Lumia Chain. The successful HyperNode sale has generated strong community interest, creating multiple use cases for LUMIA tokens. The Lumia ecosystem will support tokenized RWAs and DeFi, making it an ideal platform for these activities.

Before Lumia can realize its ambitions, it needs to complete the token swap and launch the new chain. Looking ahead, Lumia aims to become a key hub for RWA and DeFi activities, providing the necessary liquidity and capital efficiency.
