Delisting of AI Tokens Ocean Protocol (OCEAN) and SingularityNET (AGIX)

Binance, a prominent digital asset exchange, has made an official announcement regarding the delisting of AI crypto spot trading pairs linked to Ocean Protocol (OCEAN) and SingularityNET (AGIX). According to the announcement, Binance will cease all spot trading pairs for OCEAN and AGIX on July 1, 2024, at 3:00 a.m. (UTC). Additionally, deposits and withdrawals of Ocean Protocol (OCEAN) and SingularityNET (AGIX) will be halted on the same day at 3:30 a.m. (UTC). Furthermore, Trading Bot services for these spot trading pairs will be discontinued by Binance on the specified date.

Binance has revealed its support for the token merge of Ocean Protocol (OCEAN) and SingularityNET (AGIX) to Fetch.ai (FET), introducing the new project name as the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance. In light of this development, key trading pairs such as AGIX/BTC, AGIX/FDUSD, AGIX/TRY, AGIX/USDT, OCEAN/BNB, OCEAN/BTC, OCEAN/TRY, and OCEAN/USDT will be removed from Binance's platform. Following the cessation of trading in each corresponding pair, all trade orders will be automatically eliminated.

Moreover, Binance Futures will finalize the closure of all positions and initiate an automatic settlement for the OCEANUSDT and AGIXUSDT USDⓈ-M Perpetual Contracts on June 25, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. (UTC). Subsequently, these contracts will be delisted after the settlement process is concluded.

Details of Delisting

Binance Margin is scheduled to delist the AGIX/BTC, AGIX/USDT, OCEAN/BTC, and OCEAN/USDT cross margin and isolated margin pairs on June 26, 2024, at 6:00 a.m. (UTC). Balances of OCEAN and AGIX in the Cross Margin Wallet within the Portfolio Margin account will be automatically converted to USDT starting from this date. Additionally, Binance will eliminate OCEAN and AGIX from the list of supported cryptocurrencies on Binance Pay on July 1, 2024, at 3:00 a.m. (UTC). Gift card creation for OCEAN or AGIX will no longer be supported by Binance from July 28 onwards.

All services like Binance Auto-Invest and Buy & Sell Crypto will delist OCEAN and AGIX at specific times as mentioned by Binance. Moreover, the Binance Funding Rate Arbitrage Bot will close all arbitrage strategies and conduct an automatic settlement on the OCEANUSDT and AGIXUSDT symbols as specified by Binance management.
