Cryptocurrency exchange Binance is introducing new measures to regulate trading of risky altcoins, aiming to ensure user safety.
New Measures for Risky Altcoins
Starting from April 3, 2025, Binance will include ten altcoins such as Ardor (ARDR), Biswap (BSW), and Flamingo (FLM) on its monitoring list. These altcoins are known for their high volatility and risk levels. To trade them, users must pass regular risk assessment tests every 90 days.
Seed Tag Removed from Three Altcoins
Binance has also announced the removal of seed tags from popular altcoins like Jupiter (JUP), Starknet (STRK), and Toncoin (TON). This change indicates that these coins have successfully passed risk criteria. However, this does not imply that there are no risks associated.
Impact on Users
Binance users can monitor the status of the altcoins in real-time through the Spot and Margin trading pages, as well as the Market Overview page. The exchange has confirmed that the label changes will not affect other services related to the altcoins.
Binance continues to strengthen security measures to minimize risks for users trading altcoins, highlighting the importance of risk awareness.
