Binance has announced the upcoming listing of the PENGU token from Pudgy Penguins NFT collection and the Simon's Cat (CAT) meme coin on December 17. This announcement has drawn significant attention in the crypto community.
Binance Listing Plans
Binance plans to list the PENGU token, part of the Pudgy Penguins NFT collection, on December 17 at 14:00 UTC. PENGU will be open for trading with USDT, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY pairs. Alongside PENGU, Binance will also list the Simon's Cat (CAT) meme coin at 09:00 UTC on the same pairs.
CAT Meme Coin Price Changes
Following the Binance listing announcement, the CAT meme coin surged by 64.42% according to crypto.news data. CAT is currently trading at $0.0000641 with a market capitalization exceeding $433 million. The CAT token ranks 27th on the meme coin leaderboard.
Features of PENGU Token
Unlike CAT, which is already actively traded, the PENGU token will be new to the market. Upon listing on Binance, over 623 million PENGU tokens will be available, representing about 70.22% of total supply. Users participating in Simple Earn and subscribing their BNB between December 9 and 12 will be eligible for both tokens' airdrops.
