In Q1 2025, leading Bitcoin mining companies produced over 9,700 BTC, valued at nearly $800 million, given Bitcoin's price around $81,600.
Key Company Results
Marathon Digital, the largest company by market capitalization, led the production rankings with 2,285 BTC worth about $186 million. CleanSpark followed with 1,950 BTC valued at around $160 million. Iren produced 1,513 BTC worth almost $124 million. Riot Blockchain mined 1,428 BTC, approximately $117 million.
Hut 8's Growth
Hut 8 Mining, despite producing the least amount of Bitcoin, showed the highest growth rate, increasing its output to 199 BTC valued at about $16 million. In March, the company also partnered with US President Donald Trump's sons to create a new mining venture.
