Recent days have been eventful for Bitcoin, with sharp price fluctuations resulting in stabilization at $84,000. BTC's market dominance is on the rise again.
Bitcoin Price Fluctuations
Bitcoin saw a noticeable increase last week, reaching $88,800. However, this was short-lived, and the price dropped to $81,600 on Friday. After a brief recovery over the weekend, this week saw another drop to $81,200. Nevertheless, once the price rose above $85,000, it stabilized at around $84,000. Interestingly, there was a brief crash to $81,200 on Bitstamp, while such an event was not observed on other exchanges. Currently, Bitcoin's market cap stands at $1.670 trillion, and its dominance over altcoins has increased significantly, approaching 60%.
CRO and EOS Achievements
Despite minor losses for most major altcoins like BNB, SOL, and ADA, CRO and EOS have stood out as top performers over the past day. EOS jumped by 20% and now trades above $0.8, while CRO increased by 7.5%, reaching over $0.105.
Today's Crypto Market
Total crypto market cap has shed $40 billion, dropping to $2.8 trillion. Among larger-cap altcoins, SHIB recorded a more pronounced drop.
To conclude, despite recent fluctuations, Bitcoin has strengthened its market position, while certain altcoins continue to show significant changes.
