Bitdeer has reported a significant increase in its Bitcoin reserves, adding 40.3 BTC to its holdings over the past week. This move reflects a strategic accumulation amid successful mining output.
May Bitcoin Mining Results
In May, Bitdeer mined 196 BTC, an 18.1% increase from April. As a result, the company increased its reserves to 1,486.1 BTC as of June 27, 2025.
Growth Through Operational Improvements
Self-mining in May was at 13.6 EH/s, made possible by upgrades at sites in Texas, Norway, and Bhutan. The deployment of new SEALMINER rigs contributed to efficient growth of operations.
Funding to Support Expansion
Bitdeer raised $330 million through a convertible note offering, with an option to increase this to $375 million. These funds are aimed at expanding mining capabilities and supporting new AI and datacenter projects.
The increase in Bitcoin reserves and the substantial funding demonstrate Bitdeer's steady course toward long-term development and modernization of its operations.
