Bitwise has filed an application for a spot Solana ETF with the U.S. SEC. This move comes amid Donald Trump's statement on improving regulatory conditions for the crypto industry.
Applications for Solana ETF
Bitwise is competing for the approval of a spot Solana ETF along with major players like VanEck and Canary Capital. These companies have already submitted their filings to the U.S. regulators. VanEck was the first to file for a Solana ETF on June 27, while Canary Capital submitted its application on October 30.
Interest in XRP ETF
Bitwise's interest in crypto ETFs has also extended to Ripple, with a filing for a spot XRP ETF in Delaware on October 1. Ripple's CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, had previously indicated the inevitability of such a product.
Crypto Market Situation
Despite uncertainties regarding the realization of a Solana ETF under the Trump administration, digital assets continue to show robust growth. Solana has shown a significant price increase amidst the bullish crypto market.
Cryptocurrency ETFs continue to attract attention from companies and investors alike. With the changes in the SEC leadership and increased support for the crypto industry, the approval of new ETFs offers new opportunities for digital assets.
