Blockticity has introduced a new blockchain network based on Avalanche, aimed at securing digital trade documents. This initiative promises to enhance the security and transparency of global trade.
Launch of Blockticity's New Network
On June 11, 2025, in Miami, Blockticity launched its own Layer 1 network on Avalanche via AvaCloud. As part of this launch, 45,000 Certificates of Authenticity (COAs) were migrated from the Avalanche C-Chain, and 700,000 new COAs were minted on the dedicated mainnet. These assets represent over $1.2 billion in authenticated goods.
Benefits of the New Certificates of Authenticity
Blockticity's certificates have a programmable structure and can be easily used for automation and compliance in global trade. CEO Mike Coner stated, 'As global trade becomes more complex, compliance is no longer a nice-to-have, it’s a requirement.'
