The Tomahawk Ultra switch is the result of a multi-year effort involving hundreds of engineers who reimagined Ethernet switch architecture. It achieves ultra-low latency of 250 ns while delivering 51.2 Tbps throughput. Key features include:
- Support for up to 77 billion packets per second, - Adaptive Ethernet headers reducing overhead, - Lossless technology preventing packet loss through Link Layer Retry and Credit-Based Flow Control.
