Bullish, a cryptocurrency exchange backed by Peter Thiel, has announced the addition of Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoin to its platform. The stablecoin will be available for trading across seven different markets.
Official Launch of RLUSD
The RLUSD stablecoin was officially launched on December 17 after initially being announced in April. Ripple made it available to the public after obtaining crucial approval from the New York State Department of Financial Services.
Platform Support
Earlier today, Singapore-based exchange Independent Reserve also listed the stablecoin. Prior to this, RLUSD was listed on trading platforms such as Bitso and Uphold.
Current RLUSD Metrics
According to CoinGecko, RLUSD currently has a market cap of $72.8 million, ranking it as the 691st biggest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. Over the past 24 hours, the trading volume reached $2.7 million. Additionally, about 1.5 million more RLUSD tokens were minted by Ripple, according to data from the Ripple Stablecoin Tracker account.
The addition of the RLUSD stablecoin on Bullish's platform underscores Ripple's ongoing development efforts and its commitment to integrating innovations in the crypto space.
