Strategic Partnership
On July 23, 2025, Bybit announced a new strategic partnership with Cactus Custody, a leading compliant digital asset custodian in Asia. Both companies will launch an off-exchange settlement solution called Cactus Oasis, scheduled to go live on July 28, 2025. This solution allows institutional clients to trade directly on Bybit without the need to pre-fund exchange accounts.
Asset Security
Cactus Oasis ensures secure asset custody, allowing clients to deposit collateral with Cactus Custody, where assets are held under strict oversight. HSM encryption and a combination of hot and cold wallets provide high levels of protection, compliant with financial institution standards. Regulatory licenses and certifications such as SOC 1 and SOC 2 confirm the reliability of the system.
Supporting Institutional Adoption
The partnership aims to accelerate institutional adoption of digital assets, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. Cactus Oasis, with its flexible risk management mechanisms and compliance with KYC and KYB requirements, is expected to represent a significant step forward in developing trading infrastructure for digital assets.
