Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 begins on November 14 with the introduction of three new maps.
Introduction of New Maps
On November 4, Activision unveiled the Season 1 update introducing three new maps. The teaser, only a few seconds long, showcased the appearance of Hideout, Extraction, and Heirloom maps.
Map Descriptions
The Extraction map features docks with boats and helipads, designed for 6v6 gameplay. The Hideout map is filled with small buildings and containers, also for 6v6 engagements. The third map, Heirloom, is set in a museum-like environment and supports both 6v6 and 2v2 modes, offering a unique indoor edge.
Additional Updates
Season 1 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 includes gameplay elements from Warzone, and introduces a new Area 99 map in Resurgence mode. A new Zombies mode map is expected later in the season. Recently, the Nuketown map was added for multiplayer with a double XP event, extended until November 5 after fixing XP earn rate issues.
