The Canadian platform Rumble has announced the launch of a wallet for content monetization with support for Tether's USDT stablecoin.
Rumble's New Wallet
Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski announced in an X post that the new Rumble Wallet will be used for content monetization and outperform most advertisers. He also noted that the wallet would use Tether's USDT for transactions. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino referred to the initiative as "a wallet for the people."
Tether's Investment Activity
In late 2024, Tether invested $775 million in Rumble, showcasing their support for freedom of speech and financial independence. Additionally, Tether is the seventh-largest holder of US Treasury securities and acquired a majority stake in the Juventus football club in February.
Integration with TRUTH Social
In 2021, Trump Media and Technology Group partnered with Rumble to deliver video services for TRUTH Social. Later, the TRUTH Social platform migrated to Rumble's cloud to ensure its infrastructure and prevent alleged censorship.
The launch of Rumble's new wallet with USDT support marks a significant step in the platform's development and its aspiration to provide users with a reliable financial independence tool.
