    CashScript Playground and Its Updates

The CashScript Playground, an online IDE for writing CashScript smart contracts, has introduced a new 'MockNet' option. This feature allows users to create virtual UTXOs and validate smart contract transactions locally, providing precise error messages. 'MockNet' is unique as no other tooling for Bitcoin-like blockchains currently offers this developer experience. Inspired by Ethereum’s Remix, the CashScript Playground enables users to easily import/export contract artifacts, test new versions of CashScript code, and create multiple contract instances with different arguments, streamlining the smart contract development process.

    Pickynode 0.2.1 Released

A new version of Pickynode (0.2.1) has been released, introducing several updates and improvements. The Ruby gem now supports all Ruby versions past 2.5 and is compatible with both Bitcoin Cash and BTC. The API has been updated to pull data from Blockchair, and dependencies have been updated as well. Pickynode allows users to easily add, connect, ban, or disconnect Bitcoin nodes based on user agents, providing a simple way to be selective about the nodes they connect to.

Paytaca Talks: Impressions from Hong Kong

In the 16th episode of Paytaca Talks, the team shared the exciting journey of their Marketing Officer, Avery, and Brand Ambassador, Demi, during their recent adventure in Hong Kong. They discussed the unique challenges they faced and the valuable insights they gained while exploring the dynamic market. Avery and Demi detailed how they navigated the vibrant landscape and connected with potential users. The conversation emphasized the importance of adaptability and creativity in overcoming obstacles.

CashScript Playground continues to innovate with the 'MockNet' feature, Pickynode is updated to support new Ruby versions and node connections, and the Paytaca team shares their experiences from Hong Kong. These updates and stories highlight the importance of innovation and adaptability in the modern tech world.
