Compass Mining, a leading provider of Bitcoin mining solutions, has announced the launch of a new 20 MW facility in North Dakota, equipped with water-cooled technology.
New Facility in North Dakota
The facility in North Dakota is equipped with water-cooled Antminer S21 Hydro machines. Currently, 5.5 MW of capacity has been energized, with additional machines to be phased in to meet increasing demand.
Technological Advancements with Antminer S21 Hydro
The newly energized 5.5 MW of power includes 1,000 units of Antminer S21 Hydro, which use advanced water blocks to enhance cooling efficiency over traditional air-cooled systems. This results in increased processing power and reduced energy consumption.
Strategic Approach of Compass Mining
Compass Mining's strategy combines self-owned facilities with partner-operated sites to enhance operational reliability, with 50 MW energized across multiple sites in 2024.
Compass Mining continues to strengthen its position in the Bitcoin mining industry by deploying the latest technologies and expanding its capacity to meet the growing needs of its clients.
