Cosmoverse, the largest Interchain conference, is returning for its fourth installment and is heading to Dubai from October 21-27, 2024.
Goals and Expectations of Cosmoverse 2024
The Cosmoverse conference provides an opportunity for new projects and builders to connect with enterprises, institutions, governments, and other like-minded individuals. The event aims to strengthen the Cosmos community’s connections with other ecosystems and tracks to enhance synergy between networks. Juri Maibaum, Co-Founder of Cosmoverse, disclosed: "We’re excited to bring Cosmoverse to Dubai, after emerging as a prominent global hub for crypto. The UAE is set on becoming the place for builders in the space. We want to leverage this region's relentless pursuit of cutting-edge technology to educate on the growing Interchain ecosystem and its role in connecting independent chains."
Innovations and Partnerships
Cosmoverse has a history of being hosted in cities full of opportunities and communities that can bring value to the Interchain ecosystem. In April, it was reported that there are 500,000 daily traders in the Middle East, with the UAE leading in active users per capita. This year, Cosmoverse has partnered with Emirates to bring participants from around the world. Reports indicate the growth and development of the Dubai crypto community, reflecting the core tenets of the Interchain ecosystem.

The five-day conference will gather over 2000 attendees to listen to various speakers, panels, and workshops on recent Interchain developments. Cosmoverse will also hold the second edition of Hackmos, a Cosmos hackathon, from October 25-27. Key speakers include Sunny Aggarwal, Co-Founder of Osmosis; Dr. David Tse, Co-Founder of Babylon; and John Patrick Mullin, Co-Founder of MANTRA.
Cosmoverse is the culmination of numerous community-building events worldwide, including Berlin, Seoul, Athens, Medellín, Buenos Aires, Istanbul, New York, and Dubai. These gatherings bring together the various Cosmos communities in the run-up to Cosmoverse.
