COTI has officially launched its much-anticipated Layer 2, offering high-speed confidential transactions for web3 applications and services.
Features of COTI V2
The successful deployment of COTI V2 is the result of two years of research and intense labor. Its versatile privacy solution applies to all apps built on COTI's EVM-compatible chain, as well as other networks thanks to its omnichain compatibility. The technology behind COTI, Garbled Circuits, enables transaction speeds up to 3,000 times greater than existing solutions, designed in collaboration with Soda Labs.
A New Approach to Privacy
COTI distinguishes itself by focusing on developers rather than retail investors, allowing them to control the level of private transactions. This shift is evidenced by COTI's emphasis on enterprises, providing solutions to institutional privacy needs, such as in Real World Assets (RWAs), where data privacy is crucial.
Partnerships and Future Initiatives
COTI is already partnering with major industry players, including Bancor, Band Protocol, and MyEtherWallet. Its involvement in the Digital Shekel project with the Bank of Israel highlights COTI's broad capabilities. Upcoming announcements about new partnerships are anticipated, and as part of its mainnet launch, COTI is dropping 100 $COTI tokens to tens of thousands of wallets, assisting users in transitioning to the new layer.
COTI Layer 2 technology provides significant opportunities for confidential, high-speed transactions, potentially marking an important step in web3 technology development.
