According to a new report by CoinShares, digital asset investment products saw record capital inflows this year, reaching $3.34 billion.
Growth in Investment Product Inflows
Last week, the digital asset market recorded its highest inflows since mid-December 2024, totaling $3.4 billion, marking the third largest weekly inflow of all-time. BlackRock’s iShares ETFs contributed the largest share, with inflows amounting to $1.5 billion.
Bitcoin and Ethereum: Inflow Leaders
Bitcoin investment products were the largest contributor to inflows, bringing in $3.18 billion last week. The total assets under management for Bitcoin reached $132 billion. Ethereum also saw inflows of $183 million, effectively breaking its previous eight-week streak of outflows.
Regional Analysis of Capital Inflows
CoinShares noted that U.S. investors contributed the largest share, with inflows reaching $3.3 billion. Germany and Switzerland followed with inflows of $51.5 million and $41.4 million respectively.
