Crypto.com announced the acquisition of a limited license to provide derivatives in Dubai from the Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority, expanding its footprint in the UAE market.

Acquisition of New License

Crypto.com confirmed the acquisition of a new limited license from VARA, allowing it to offer derivatives including futures, perpetual swap contracts, and CFDs to institutional and qualified investors in the UAE. This license is based on the previous VASP license, indicating an expansion of the company's operations in this region.

Expansion of Services and Products

Crypto.com is actively expanding its products and services. In 2023, its Dubai entity acquired a full VASP license, and in 2024 it received full operational approval from VARA. The company plans to roll out significant updates during 2025.

We are aggressively transforming and evolving Crypto.com to provide users around the world all of the financial technology tools they are looking for in one place. With this approval from VARA, we are taking a significant step forward.Eric Anziani, President and COO of Crypto.com

Partnership with Tawasal AI Khaleej

Crypto.com partnered with Tawasal AI Khaleej, enhancing its presence in the region. The partnership will take place in two phases: recommending the platform to local partners and integration with the Tawasal app, making virtual asset trading more accessible.

Crypto.com is strengthening its presence in the UAE and continues to grow on the international stage by expanding its range of services and establishing new strategic partnerships.
