Bitcoin price today remains steady above $84k, showing a 2.96% spike over the last 24 hours, despite a 3.79% decline in trading volumes, now at $28.4 billion. Bitcoin's market cap stands at $1.67 trillion, with price action ranging from $81,771 to $85,263 in the same period.
Altcoins Flash Green: Solana Surges
Ethereum also showed a healthy uptick, gaining 1.91% over the past 24 hours, while XRP impressed with a rise of 6.37%. Solana, however, took the spotlight amongst the major altcoins, climbing 7.09% and emerging as today’s top-performing large-cap asset.

Among the top 100 altcoins, HYPE leads with a significant 12.08% jump, followed by ATOM with a rise of 10.92% and KAS up by 9.72%. Conversely, PI saw the sharpest decline, dropping 15.08%, with TIA and TRX recording minor losses of 1.54% and 1.47% respectively.
