Over $2.85 billion in crypto options are set to expire tomorrow on Deribit amidst preparations for an important summit at the White House.
Bitcoin and Ethereum Options Expiry Data
According to Deribit, approximately $2.36 billion in Bitcoin options will expire tomorrow morning with a Max Pain Point of $89,000 and a Put/Call Ratio of 0.72. Additionally, $492 million in Ethereum options will expire with a Max Pain Point of $2,300 and a Put/Call Ratio of 0.73.
Current Bitcoin Market Update
As of the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading above $91,000, up by over 1.5% in the past 24 hours. The price has been quite volatile over the past week, reaching above $94,000 on March 3rd following US President Donald Trump's announcement of a crypto reserve.
Current Ethereum Market Update
Ethereum is trading above $2,290, showing an increase of more than 2.5% over the past 24 hours. The price rose from $2,163 on March 5 to over $2,315 earlier today, before slightly retreating to the current levels. Previously, on March 3rd, Ethereum's price surpassed $2,540 following positive news from the US President.
