On December 24, the online streaming platform KickStreaming suffered a cybersecurity breach, resulting in its X account being used to promote scam tokens based on the Solana blockchain. The scammers marketed the so-called 'Kick Token' as a revolutionary tool for blockchain developers and content creators, enticing users to interact with malicious wallet links.
Platform's Response
KickStreaming co-founder Bijan Tehrani made a statement on X, clarifying that the platform has no plans to launch any tokens and denouncing the 'Kick Token' as an outright fabrication. Tehrani urged followers to report the scam posts while the company worked to regain account access.
