Lagrange has entered a deal with Matter Labs to direct up to 75% of Matter Labs’ outsourced proof demand to the Lagrange Prover Network over the next two years.
New Horizons of Partnership
In January 2025, Lagrange successfully integrated a decentralized version of ZKsync’s ZK Stack prover, demonstrating self-reliance from centralized solutions. With this new partnership, ZKsync can handle most of its proving demand using a decentralized network.
Benefits for Users
The agreement promises lower gas fees and faster transactions for ZKsync users. It guarantees higher resilience and access to resources for the network.
Further Integration and Scaling
The ZKsync ecosystem boasts nearly 25 ZK stack chains, 300 applications, and 1.3 million onchain transactions in the last month. Rollup-as-a-service platforms like Caldera and AltLayer rely on the Lagrange Prover Network for proof generation.
The partnership between Lagrange and Matter Labs marks an important step towards a decentralized ZK rollup ecosystem, providing vast opportunities for further growth and expansion.
