DEX aggregator Jupiter announced at the Solana Breakpoint event in Singapore the acquisition of blockchain explorer SolanaFM and decentralized trading terminal Coinhall.
Acquisition of SolanaFM
Jupiter co-founder Siong Ong announced at the Solana Breakpoint event the acquisition of blockchain explorer SolanaFM. SolanaFM, which raised $4.5 million from the SBI Group in 2022, enables users to access and interact with Solana data through its indexer and explorer tools.
Acquisition of Coinhall
During his keynote speech at Breakpoint, Siong Ong also announced the acquisition of Coinhall, the number one aggregator across the Cosmos ecosystem. Coinhall provides swaps across decentralized exchanges on the Solana and Cosmos blockchains. According to Ong, Coinhall has over 225,000 users across 23 chains.
Future Updates for Jupiter
At Friday’s event, Ong also introduced other critical updates for Jupiter that are set to go live in the coming weeks. These include Jupiter Mobile, a mobile app built with MoonPay that users can access via Apple or Google Pay with zero platform fees. Another upcoming launch is Ape.Pro, an upgrade to its memecoin trading platform Ape, allowing users to trade and mint memecoins on mobile with social logins. Jupiter is also launching its own API platform, Metropolis, to provide more comprehensive liquidity APIs for developers.
These acquisitions and updates demonstrate Jupiter's commitment to expanding its capabilities and strengthening its position in the Solana and Cosmos ecosystems.
